Official visit on Republic of Macedonia by British Expert for Climate Change
In frame of the project “Creating green lobby group in Macedonian Parliament” supported by British Embassy in Macedonia, in organization by Macedonian Green Center and by invitation of Ambassador of UK in Macedonia Mr. Andrew Key, in two-day official visit in Macedonia will be Mr. Elliot Morley, the British expert and lobbyist for climate change, member of British Environmental Audit Committee, and ex-Minister of State, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs in Royal UK Government.  |

Meeting between civil society organizations and Parliamentarian Green Lobby Group
One day workshop organized by Macedonian Green Centre in framework of the project “Establishing Parliamentarian Green Lobby Group” financed by the British Embassy in Skopje, took place on the 26th of February 2008 in the Club of the Parliamentarians in Skopje. The theme of the workshop was “Establishing mechanism for better collaboration among civil society organisations, members of the Parliament and state institutions in charge for environment and sustainable development”.  |

Sequel of the Second meeting of the Parliamentarian Green Lobby Group
On the 7th of February 2008, was held the sequel of the second working meeting of the Parliamentarian Green Lobby Group. Eight parliamentarians, members of the Parliamentarian Green Lobby Group attended the meeting: Mr. Blagoj Zasov, Mr. Marijan Dodoski, Mrs. Katerina Dimeska, Mr. Tome Daneski, Mr. Azis Polozani, Mr. Safet Neziri, Mr. Zoran Vitanov and Mrs. Mirajna Sekulovska. The meeting was opened and facilitated by Mr. Stole Georgiev, the project coordinator. Mrs. Teodora Obradovik – Grncarovska, representative from the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning also took part at the meeting.  |

Second meeting of the Parliamentarian Green Lobby Group
On the 7th of December 2007 in the Macedonian Parliament the second meeting of the Parliamentarian Green Lobby Group was held. Seven Parliamentarians - members of the lobby group, coming from different political parties, were present on the meeting: Tome Danevski, Katerina Dimeska, Ilija Dimovski, Marjan Dodovski, Zoran Vitanov, Liljana Popovska i Roza Topuzovska – Karovska. The meeting was opened and facilitated by Mr Stole Georgiev, the project coordinator.  |

The Parliamentarian Green Lobby Group Promoted
On the 26th of October 2007 in the Macedonian Parliament was held the initial working meeting for establishing and promoting of the Parliamentarian Green Lobby Group. Fourteen Parliamentarians, members of the lobby group, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom in Macedonia, Mr. Andrew Key, the Minister of environment and physical planning, Mr. Xhelil Bajrami, and the media were present on the meeting.  |

Realization of meetings with members of the Macedonian Parliament (July 2007)
The project team during the July 2007 held a several meetings with the members of the Macedonian Parliament in frame of the project “Creating Green Lobby Group in Macedonian Parliament”. Main agenda on these meetings was the interest of the Parliamentarian’s members to participate in the newly established lobby group end the mechanism of the further cooperation.  |
